EARLY CHALLENGES
After completing Internship I got appointment order to join primary health center in remote area of Madhya Pradesh. I packed my baggage and went to the district headquarters. They gave the location to reach there and told that you have to cross two river lets as there was flood situation. So, I gave a telegram to Director of Health Services that I can’t comply with the order due to flood situation and returned home.
After that I joined as house surgeon in orthopaedic. In 1971 I joined Deptt. Of Ortho Surgery at AIIMS New Delhi.
Worked in Moolchand Hospital & Irwin Hospital (LNJP) as register in orthopaedics.
Very heavy workload and salary of 600/- month. So, I went to Middle East to Aden Yemen as Consultant Orthopedic surgeon with ministry of Health. I was president of Indian association Aden and play important role in developing good relationship between Indian’s and local population in Aden. I worked as senior consultant orthopaedics for State of Kuwait in Aden. I was also associated with University of Aden as lecturer.

REASON TO JOIN PROFESSION
From a middle class background & started studying without knowing where to go,
With the only though that there is only one thing that you do your best.
At that time, When I went to join high school. The principal of the school was taking routine rounds and he reviewed my marksheet.
He said that, you have got good marks in maths and other subject. So you can be an Engineer or a Doctor in future. There I decided to became a Doctor & I took Biology as a subject.

MANAGEMENT THOUGHT

With the vision to provide higher technical education to middle class and the rural students. I started modern institute of technology and research at Alwar, Rajasthan.
This institute is run by All India Arya Samajis Society. I am the vice president of that Organisation.
Presently, I am working as a director and the Head of the Department (department of orthopaedics and joint replacement, Fortis Shalimar Bagh New Delhi.

Healthcare vision machine (man vs machine)
Nowadays machines are playing important part in the medical treatment.
Good advanced machines are must to develop and manufacture implants with consistent and constant parameters .During surgeries machines help the surgeons to improve their accuracy.
As I am associated with the implants manufacturing so I can very well appreciate the role of machines in medical science.
But machines cannot replace the human skills and experience and human touch is always required for proper functioning of machines to get desired good results.
