The ADMI Half-Yearly Members Meeting was successfully held on 21st February 2026 at The Orchid Hotel, Vile Parle (E), Mumbai , bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and members of the diagnostics manufacturing fraternity for a day of meaningful dialogue and collaboration.
The meeting commenced with a warm welcome and opening remarks, followed by the Presidential Address by Mr. Jatin Mahajan outlining ADMI’s strategic priorities and roadmap for the coming months.
We were privileged to hear insightful addresses from Dr. D. K. Joshi and Mr. Thomas John, Immediate Past President of ADMI, who shared valuable perspectives on the evolving diagnostics landscape, regulatory developments, and the collective responsibility of industry stakeholders in strengthening India’s IVD ecosystem.
Key highlights of the meeting included:
- Innovation Slot Presentation by AGD Biomedicals Pvt. Ltd. on “From Import Dependence to Indigenous Advantage” by Dr. Rajesh Patel, emphasizing the importance of domestic manufacturing capabilities.
- Secretary’s Report and Committee-wise Progress Review covering ongoing initiatives and policy advocacy efforts by Secretary ADMI – Dr. Rajesh Patel.
- Discussion on Upcoming Events & Engagement Calendar.
- Engaging member interaction and open discussion on priority industry issues.
- Technical session by Prof. Siddhartha Panda (National Centre for Flexible Electronics, IIT Kanpur) on “Medical Diagnostics with Flexible Electronics.”
- Presentation by IIM Bodh Gaya on “Redefining Industry-Academia Collaboration: A Win-Win Paradigm.”
The meeting concluded with a Vote of Thanks by VP of ADMI, Mr. Sanjeev Lala, followed by an interactive networking lunch that fostered deeper collaboration among members and knowledge partners.
