Asian Institute of Medical Sciences organized a 21-kilometer and 10-kilometer Cycle Marathon

A cycling competition was organized by the Asian Institute of Medical Sciences. 180 people participated in this cycling competition, which included a 21-kilometer cycle competition and a 10-kilometer cycle race. Dr. N.K., Chairman and Managing Director of Asian Hospital, flagged off the contestants. Director Anupam Pandey, International Patient Department Director Dr. Neha Pandey, Preventive Health Department Director Dr. PS Ahuja, and other members of the hospital were present in this program.

The 21-kilometer cycle race started at 6.30 a.m. from Asian Hospital, and the participants returned to the hospital via Kant Enclave, ahead of the Taj Vivanta Hotel. The 10-kilometer cycle race participants returned to the hospital by cycling from Anangpur. Keeping in mind the convenience and safety of the contestants, at various places, nursing staff, ambulance and physiotherapists, water and juice counters were installed.

Dr. NK Pandey, Chairman of Asian Hospital, said that I am very happy that the people of Faridabad are very conscious of their health and that such programs make them health conscious. It will be the continuous effort of Asian Hospital to keep spreading health awareness among the people, and soon we will also organize the Faridabad Half Marathon.

Children, women, men, and old people from 10 years to 76 years enthusiastically participated in the cycling competition. This competition has been divided into two age categories. The first category includes men, women, and youth aged 10 to 40 years. The second category includes men and women aged between 40 and 76 years. All the participants were given a T-shirt, medal, tracking chip (which will help in knowing the cycling time), and refreshments. The first prize in cash given to the winning male and female participants was Rs. 15000, the second prize was Rs 10,000, and the third prize was Rs 5,000.

On this occasion, Raahgiri was also arranged, in which Zumba and Bhangra were also organized.

In the 21-kilometer cycle competition, among women aged 16 to 40, Sonia got the first prize of Rs 15 thousand, Ishika got the second prize of Rs 10 thousand, and Rachna got the third prize of Rs 5 thousand.

In the 21-kilometer cycle competition among men aged between 16 and 40 years, the first prize was given to Chetan at Rs. 15 thousand, the second prize was given to Rahul at Rs. 10 thousand, and the third prize was given to Raghav at Rs. 5 thousand.

In the 21-kilometer cycle competition, among women above 40 years old, the 1st prize was Monica for Rs. 15 thousand, the 2nd prize was Garima for Rs. 10 thousand, and the 3rd prize was Pratima for Rs. 5 thousand.

In 21 kilometer cycle competition, among men above 40 years, first prize Sajeev of Rs. 15 thousand, second prize Dheeraj  Rs. 10 thousand, third prize Narendra Rs.  5 thousand.

In the 10-kilometer cycle competition, the first prize went to Mukesh at Rs. 10 thousand, the second prize to Shivam at Rs. 7 thousand, and the third prize to Ayush at Rs. 5 thousand.
