Cygnus Hospitals takesIndian healthcare to the next level with Taiwan rendezvous.

Cygnus Hospitals – a leading next-generation hospital chain providing international standard healthcare to over  millions lives in smaller communities across north India – has signed a MOU with the National Cheng Kung University Hospital (NCKUH) of Taiwan, informed by CEO- Cygnus, Dr Dinesh Batra . The overarching goal is to lay meaningful and robust foundations for collaborations in research, planning & projects between the two organizations, and by extension, the  respective countries.

For Cygnus Hospitals, the MOU – signed between representatives of the two parties in the city of Tainan in Taiwan under warm ceremonial honours – serves the immediate and crucial objective of bolstering healthcare benchmarks in the country by the sharing of best ideas and practices, boosting adoption & compliance of the same, and the strategic exchange of programs and talent.

With its cutting edge eco-system, deep R&D traditions and highly developed professionals, Taiwan is a healing hub of the modern world. The country also leads in new drug development, is a training epi-centre, and serves as the heart of the world’s tech supply chain.

Dr Batra said, this newfound synergy between Cygnus Hospitals and NCKUH is slated to add momentum to Cygnus’ on-going mission of introducing personalized, ethical and world class tertiary care (with specific emphasis on emergency care) and specialized surgeries at affordable prices in district towns and rural regions of North India – and the country as a whole in the near time. Amongst other things, the focus is on evolving a comprehensive and round-the-clock eco-system of trauma service at every hospital in small town India, something sorely lacking even after 71 years of independence.

Dr Batra feels that the  shared odyssey should go a long way in empowering both Cygnus Hospitals and NCKUH of Taiwan to turn their respective visions and priorities into reality – sooner rather than later.
