First government Hospital in Haryana to get a Surgical Robotic System and the first across all ESIC Hospitals in the entire country

ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Faridabad, Haryana becomes the first hospital in Haryana and the first across all ESIC Hospitals in the entire country, a reputed and distinguished Central Government Institution to have installed SSi Mantra Surgical Robotic System – the Made in India; Made for the World surgical robotic system from SS Innovations.

ESIC (Employee State Insurance Corporation) is a legislative body under the ownership of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. ESIC is a comprehensive social security scheme that provides health insurance to employees and their dependants. This scheme offers various benefits such as medical care, sickness benefits, and maternity benefits. According to source, all establishments covered under the ESI Act and all factories that employ more than 10 employees and pay wages below or upto Rs. 21,000 (Rs. 25,000 for employees with disability) must register with ESIC and contribute towards the ESI Scheme.
