Eye-Q, a leading hospital eye care chain has successfully completed 16 years of its establishment and to commemorate the event the eye care brand announced a campaign #seebright. Under the campaign, the brand announced an exclusive 16% discount on cataract surgery. The offer catered to patients over the age of 50 in the regions of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi & NCR, and Gujarat. Further to the campaign, the brand received an overwhelming response and performed free eye examinations of over 9000 people.
Commenting on the milestone achievement, Dr Ajay Sharma, founder and CMD of Eye-Q said, “Eye-Q is proud to be celebrating its 16th anniversary. Over the last decade, we have established a new legacy of patient eye care that has led to superior results. This 16-year success story, however, would not have been possible without the assistance and dedication of our doctors and paramedic staff. I thank them all personally and hope that their successful journey with us continues for many years to come. Further, since our audience has put a lot of faith in us, we expect to support them through this campaign.”
Further to the eye examination of over 9000 people, the brand was able to offer cataract treatment on offer to over 1500 cases that were identified.
Mr Rajat Goel, Co-founder & CEO of Eye-Q added, “As India has been grappling with the overwhelming burden of blindness, Eye-Q has always been at the forefront to ensure the right to sight for all citizens. Cataract is the most prevalent cause of blindness in the elderly, affecting more than 60% of those over the age of 50. Delays in recognising the need for a surgical procedure can lead to several complications, including lens-induced glaucoma, which can prevent vision recovery even after surgery. Therefore, at Eye-Q, we undertook the initiative to provide a discount on cataract surgery for those in desperate need.”
Eye-Q will also be accepting patients for cataract surgery under Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) and Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS). Patients can further avail the quality eye-care service through health EMI cards.
Assisted by a team of professionals with extensive experience in their respective fields, Eye-Q’s chain of Super-Specialty eye hospitals are devoted to providing the highest quality eye care at a reasonable cost all over India. Founded in 2007 by Dr Ajay Sharma and Mr Rajat Goel, Eye-Q has produced desirable results for 75lakh patients through its 32 hospitals spread across 23 cities in India and two hospitals in Nigeria.
