In a first-of-its-kind breakthrough for the region, HCG Cancer Hospital Vijayawada successfully treated Ms. Sujatha (Name changed), a 54-year-old woman diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer 2-3 months ago and was cured using a cutting-edge radiation therapy protocol completed in just five days. This advanced treatment, combining Partial Breast Irradiation (PBI) with Respiratory Gating, significantly reduced the number of sessions compared to conventional radiation therapy, which typically requires 25 to 30 sessions.
