Glocal Hospital in Begusarai was awarded by Bihar Government for exemplary performance under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) on 29th September. A week earlier the Civil Surgeon of Begusarai had given the hospital the first prize in the district for performance under Ayushman Bharat. AB PM-JAY, the flagship scheme of Government of India, is the largest health assurance scheme in the world which aims at providing a health insurance of Rs. 5 lakhs per family per year for hospitalization to over 12 crore poor and vulnerable families.
