Mumbai, 3rd September, 2025: HOSMAC, Asia’s leading hospital planning, design, and management consultancy, is set to host the 5th edition of the Hospital Engineering Summit (HES) 2025 on 20th September 2025 at The Lalit, New Delhi. This year’s summit is centered around the theme “Ensuring Quality in Hospital Infrastructure,” with the aim of advancing dialogue on how hospitals can be designed and operated to meet the demands of a fast-changing healthcare landscape. Conceived in 2018, HES has become a leading platform for discussing hospital design, engineering and technology. The last edition in 2023 explored sustainability in hospital design, drawing widespread participation from hospital owners, CXOs, planners, architects, engineers and design consultants. Building on the previous years, this is for the first time that HOSMAC is bringing the summit to New Delhi from its usual location, Mumbai.
The day-long programme will feature knowledge sessions, technical presentations and networking opportunities, featuring speakers such as Dr Mradul Kaushik (Senior Director, Max Healthcare), Dr Sanjeev Singh (Medical Director, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad), Ashish Rakheja (Managing Partner, AEON Consultants) and many more. The partners include ETHealthWorld and Medgate Today as media partners, Sharda University as academic partner, NATHEALTH as Industry Partner, and Healthcare Executive as knowledge partner, among others. From mechanical, electrical and plumbing solutions to project management, HVAC systems, green building design and medical gas planning, the summit will explore the complex engineering systems that shape the efficiency, safety and sustainability of hospitals.
“Hospitals are complex ecosystems that demand precision engineering and thoughtful design. The responsibility before us is to ensure that every square foot of healthcare space reflects not only clinical efficiency but also sustainability, resilience and human-centred care. The summit is an opportunity to step back, exchange knowledge and ask, what does it take to build hospitals that truly serve the future?” said Dr Vivek Desai, Founder & Managing Director, HOSMAC.
Now in its fifth edition, the Hospital Engineering Summit continues to be a trusted platform for meaningful dialogue on hospital infrastructure and highlights that the quality of care is closely linked to the quality of the spaces where it is provided.
