The Integrated Global Healthcare Mission Forum (IGHM) successfully hosted the prestigious 3rd Custodian of Humanity Awards 2025 at the Constitution Club of India, recognizing and honoring distinguished individuals who have made exceptional contributions to society.

The ceremony celebrated heroes from diverse sectors including healthcare, social work, media, law enforcement, and non-governmental organizations.
The event was graced by eminent dignitaries, policymakers, and thought leaders from across the country, converging to acknowledge the tireless efforts of those who have gone above and beyond in their service to humanity.
This year’s awards were presented to doctors, healthcare professionals, social activists, police officials, media personalities, bureaucrat, government organizations and NGOs, all of whom have demonstrated exemplary commitment to uplifting human lives and strengthening the social fabric of the nation.
The awards were presented by an esteemed panel of guests including Brig. Dr. Anil Kohli (Padma Awardee), Rajiv Nath (Forum Coordinator – AiMED), Dr. (Prof.) Rajesh C Shah, Dr.Y.P Bhatia and Mr. Afzal Kamal (Chairman, IGHM).
A highlight of the evening was the Lifetime Achievement Award, conferred upon Mr. Sunil Khurana, Chairman, BPL Medical Technologies Pvt. Ltd., for his decades-long contribution to the healthcare technology sector and his enduring impact on improving access to medical innovation in India. He shared: “It is a profound honor to be recognized as a Custodian of Humanity. Over the decades, my journey has been driven by a simple but powerful belief—that innovative healthcare technologies must be accessible to every individual, regardless of geography or economic status. This award reinforces my commitment to bridging gaps in healthcare delivery and fostering sustainable advancements that transform lives across India. Similarly, Dr. Rajiv Bahl, Director General at Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) was honored with the Lifetime Excellence in Research & Public Health award, acknowledging his exemplary leadership and groundbreaking contributions to public health policy and research, which have significantly strengthened India’s healthcare ecosystem over many years.
Dr. Payal Kanodia, Chairperson and Trustee M3M Foundation was honored with the Social Activist & Healthcare Personality of the Year (Women) award for her exceptional efforts in championing access to healthcare and driving women-led community welfare initiatives. She stated: “I am deeply honoured to receive the Custodian of Humanity Award. This recognition is not just mine—it belongs to every woman, every child, and every underserved individual whose resilience fuels our mission at M3M Foundation. For me, healthcare is not a privilege—it is a fundamental right. As we continue to work toward a more inclusive and self-reliant India, I remain committed to fostering access, dignity, and empowerment for all. Awards like these are a reminder that empathy backed by action can indeed change the world.”
Additionally, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Arora, Director at the National Health Authority, received the Public Health Excellence award for leading impactful public health initiatives with innovation and scale. His strategic contributions have played a vital role in strengthening India’s healthcare delivery system, improving access, and implementing high-impact policies that benefit millions across the country.
