Being a cardiology specialist for over 30+ years across premier national institutes, Dr. Keshava has performed numerous percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs) and implantation procedures, helping patients with complex cardiac conditions, from coronary artery disease and hypertension to structural/valvular heart disease. Dr. Keshava is highly skilled in performing coronary interventions, pacemaker implantations, and advanced procedures such as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR). His proficiency extends to implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) and other life-saving cardiac devices that improve patient survival rates.

Dr. Keshava R began his formal medical education with an MBBS from Bellary Medical College, followed by an MD in General Medicine from Bangalore Medical College. He further pursued DNB in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, solidifying his expertise in managing cardiovascular diseases. His commitment to advanced training, where he specialized in intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). Dr. Keshava also received focused training in electrophysiology, enhancing his ability to diagnose and treat arrhythmias with precision. His expertise in cardiac imaging techniques, including IVUS and optical coherence tomography (OCT), allows for precise diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment strategies.

Dr. Keshava’s impressive educational background and extensive training demonstrate his commitment to staying at the forefront of medical advancements in cardiology. He is dedicated to guiding patients through every treatment step, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care tailored to their specific needs. His pioneering work – ECG Made Simple For Family Physicians Program has contributed significantly to early cardiac abnormality detection in Karnataka and South India. Currently, Dr. Keshava is the president of the Karnataka Chapter of Cardiology Society of India (KCSI), which promotes CPR training programs in societies all over South Karnataka. As a committed interventional cardiologist, he is known for his clinical expertise, transparency, empathy, and compassion towards patients and their families.
