Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Lal shared, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Regional Director at Medicover!”

In this capacity, he will oversee operations and financial performance across Medicover’s extensive network in Maharashtra, managing 1,400 beds and two outpatient clinics. His responsibilities will span key hospitals in Navi Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, and Sangamner.

Lal transitions to Medicover following a three-year tenure as Chief Operating Officer at Apollo Hospitals in Ahmedabad, where he played a pivotal role in driving digital health initiatives. Prior to that, he served as Group Senior Vice President at Medicover Hospitals.

With a distinguished career in healthcare leadership, Lal has previously held roles such as Cluster Head and Vice President at Rainbow Children’s Hospitals in Bangalore and Karnataka. He also served as Group Chief Operating Officer at Sunshine Global Group of Hospitals in Gujarat.

An alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Mumbai, Lal holds a postgraduate degree in Hospital Administration and a Medical Technology degree from PGI Chandigarh.

Medicover is a globally recognized healthcare brand operating across 12 countries, including Germany, Sweden, Poland, Turkey, and India. In India, it has expanded significantly across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka, with 26 hospitals, a cancer center, a mother and child health center, outpatient clinics, and fertility centers.
