In a strategic move to further elevate the standard of care and patient experience, in an International Healthcare Collaboration, Medicover Hospitals has announced a partnership with a team of delegates from Senegal, West Africa to improve global healthcare through strategic partnerships. The goal will be to enhance patient outcomes and capacity building, increase accessibility, cost-effective solutions and advancements in medical research through the integration of advanced telehealth solutions, medical expertise exchange, patient referrals and second opinions, collaborative research and innovation, and surgical camps for increasing operational efficiency with quality care services for patients.
During the event held on September 13, 2024, Medicover Hospital announced its collaboration with delegates from Senegal to improve healthcare delivery through strategic alliances. The delegates visited the hospital to observe clinical practices, gain insights into the liver and kidney transplant programs, explore surgical techniques and innovations, and engage with healthcare professionals. This partnership will focus on improving the overall quality of care for patients while prioritizing a patient-focused approach, stated Mr Shrikanth Mahendrakar, Group Head International Business, Medicover Hospital.
