Mega Blood Donation Camp organized for Thalassemia patients by TSCS and All India Payam-E-Insaniyat Forum (AIPIF)

All India Payam-E-Insaniyat Forum (AIPIF) along with TSCS has organised a Mega Blood Donation Camp for Thalassemia patients in Wahed Nagar, Hi-tech Garden Road, Old Malakpet, Hyderabad. The camp was organised by Mr Abu Aimal and Maulana Syed, Incharge, Qutubuddin Nadvi, Maulana Mois uddin nadvi sahab, Patron and all AIPIF Volunteers. A total of 484 units of blood was collected in the camp.
The noble initiative is aimed to gather support and encourage voluntary blood donations to assist individuals battling thalassemia. The disorder necessitate consistent blood transfusions as part of their management. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the local community, with numerous volunteers enthusiastically stepping forward to contribute to this lifesaving cause.
Speaking about the importance of the event, Dr. Chandrakant Agarwal, President of Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society Hyderabad ( TSCS ), emphasized the critical requirement for blood donations, stating, ” We want to thank all the organisers and blood donors who have come forward for this noble initiative. Thalassemia affects numerous lives, and the necessity for regular blood transfusions is vital for the well-being of those affected. Such initiatives not only raise awareness but also significantly contribute to the lives of individuals battling these conditions.”
