The celebration featured the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, inspiring addresses by the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour, the launch of a special proactive women’s health check-up package, cultural performances, cake cutting, and the felicitation of women achievers from diverse sectors.
NewEra Hospitals, Vashi, celebrated International Women’s Day with a special event dedicated to recognising and appreciating the achievements and contributions of women from different walks of life. The programme brought together professionals from healthcare, law enforcement, education, media, and social work to honour their inspiring journeys and commitment to society.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Mrs. Jayashri Akolkar, Advocate, High Court, Mumbai, and the first lady lawyer from Marathwada, along with distinguished Guests of Honour including Mrs. Madhuri Pate, Assistant Police Inspector – Navi Mumbai Police; Ms Blossom Varala, Senior Associate Teacher, Don Bosco Secondary School, Nerul; Ms. Raina Assainar, Press Reporter – The Free Press Journal; Ms Pooja Thakkur, Special Educator – Counselor & Life Coach ; Dr Purvi Kutty, Consultant Pediatric Haematology, Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplantation; Dr Shatadeepa Goswami, Consultant Pediatrics; Dr Amretha Nambiar, Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist; Dr Kopal Vij, Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon; and Dr Sheherazad Khushru Randelia, Consultant Periodontist & Implantologist.
The programme featured inspiring addresses that highlighted the importance of women’s empowerment, leadership, and the need for equal opportunities across all fields. The celebration also included a cake-cutting ceremony, lively dance and singing performances, and the felicitation of the chief guest and guests of honour in recognition of their dedication, achievements, and valuable contributions to society.
