Dr Anuranjita Pallavi, Dr Kalpana Gupta, Dr Himani Gupta the doctors who were present during the event.
Recognizing the emotional and physical journey of pregnancy, Medicover Hospital curated an event that was not only fun but also educational and empowering. Couples participated in fun couple games designed to encourage bonding and relaxation, followed by a maternity photo session to capture special memories. The event also featured a focused breastfeeding education session conducted by specialists, addressing the practical and emotional aspects of nursing for new mothers and the best mother’s OOTD .
Dr Tanmesh Kumar Sahu, Consultant Neonatologist and NICU In Charge said, “Breastfeeding is the foundation of a newborn’s health. It provides the baby with essential nutrients and antibodies that help fight infections and build immunity. For mothers, breastfeeding supports quicker postpartum recovery, helps regulate weight, and lowers the risk of breast and ovarian cancers. We encourage exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months, after which weaning can begin gradually while continuing breastfeeding up to two years or beyond. It’s not just nourishment; it’s a bond that supports emotional and physical development.”
“At Medicover, we continuously strive to go beyond treatment. Initiatives like this baby shower aim to celebrate life and promote awareness through engaging formats. Our maternity team is dedicated to supporting parents from the very beginning, and we will continue organizing such thoughtful events to build stronger, healthier families,” highlighted Dr Mataprasad Gupta, Centre Head of Medicover Hospitals.
The event concluded with heartfelt smiles, beautiful pictures, and empowered parents, marking a memorable celebration of life, care, and understanding the power of breastfeeding.
