Coinciding with World Health Day, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma unveiled several pivotal health initiatives aimed at enhancing the state’s healthcare landscape. The event, held at the Rajasthan Ayurvedic Research Institute in Jaipur, was attended by Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar and other dignitaries.
Key Health Campaigns Launched:
1. Niramay Rajasthan Campaign: A comprehensive public health initiative designed to promote overall well-being and prevent lifestyle-related diseases across the state.
2. Eat Right Rajasthan: This campaign focuses on encouraging healthy eating habits to curb the consumption of junk food and address related health issues.
3. Mission Madhuhari: A dedicated program under the National Health Mission aimed at providing specialized care for individuals with Type-1 diabetes.
4. Mission Liver Smile: An initiative targeting the prevention and treatment of fatty liver diseases through awareness and medical interventions.
5. Chief Minister Ayushman Adarsh Gram Panchayat Yojana: A scheme intended to promote health and wellness in rural areas by developing model Gram Panchayats with enhanced healthcare facilities.
Technological and Infrastructure Developments:
In addition to these campaigns, the Chief Minister introduced several technological advancements and infrastructural projects:
Mobile App for Ayushman Scheme: A user-friendly application designed to facilitate access to healthcare services under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
AI-Based Integrated Monitoring System: An artificial intelligence-driven system aimed at enhancing the monitoring and evaluation of healthcare services.
Learning Management System: A platform to support continuous medical education and training for healthcare professionals.
Breastfeeding Management Units: Establishment of 29 units to support and promote breastfeeding practices among new mothers.
Hemodialysis Wards: Setting up hemodialysis facilities in 50 medical institutions to cater to patients with kidney-related ailments.
Emergency Services Enhancement:
The Chief Minister also flagged off 22 Ramrath ambulances and 10 Ambulance 108 services, aiming to strengthen emergency medical response across the state.
Healthcare Infrastructure Projects:
Projects worth ₹26 crore were inaugurated, including:
National Emergency Life Support Skill Center: Located at the Medical College in Jodhpur, this center is dedicated to training healthcare professionals in emergency life support skills.
Center of Excellence for Medical Genetics: Established at JK Lon Hospital, this center focuses on advanced research and treatment in medical genetics.
Girls Hostel at Women’s Hospital: A new accommodation facility at Sanghaneer Gate to support female medical students and staff.
Reproductive Medicine and Surgery Department: An advanced department aimed at providing specialized care in reproductive health.
Emphasis on Compassionate Healthcare:
During his address, Chief Minister Sharma appealed to healthcare professionals to treat patients with empathy and compassion, emphasizing that such behavior significantly contributes to the healing process.
