Indian long-distance runner Lalita Babar has added another chapter to her inspiring story with the birth of her second child, a baby boy at Motherhood Hospital, Kharghar. Lalita Babar, is one of India’s most celebrated long-distance runners. She made her mark on the global stage when she qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics, where she competed in the 3000m steeplechase event. Since then, she has continued to inspire young athletes with her dedication and perseverance, winning several medals for India in prestigious competitions such as the Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games.
This has been her second delivery, as she previously gave birth to a son in 2019. Both mother and child are reported to be doing well, which was overseen by a team of experienced doctors at the hospital.
