T&D Diagnostics Headquartered in Canada with manufacturing unit in Netherlands recently updated its plans to manufacture more products in India. T&D entered into a strategic partnership with Genenest – A Noida-based Biotech company to manufacture its FIA range in India. Under this strategic partnership, Genenest will be exclusive manufacturer in India for T&D’s STRAKWERT range of FIA products that are gaining rapid popularity in India. On March 3, 2025, the first kit under this strategic tie-up rolled out of Genenest and was handed over by Mr. Nitin Gupta – Co-Founder of Genenest to Mr. Manish Varma – CEO of T&D Diagnostics.
Present on this occasion, Mr. Nitin Gupta – Co-Founder of Genenest excitedly explained the outlines of the rapid growth of Genenest, whereby Genenest plans to get contract manufacturing jobs from high manufacturing costs countries like North America and Western Europe to India, thereby increasing local employments and ability to be a global player with cutting-edge technologies.
Mr. Manish Varma – CEO of T&D Diagnostics Canada – the parent company of T&D Diagnostics India and T&D Diagnostics Europe shared his vision of making India hub to serve international markets, especially Asian market. Depending on various regulatory approvals, T&D can introduce IVD kits manufactured in India to different countries. In Manish Varma’s words, developing economic moats is key to developing a sustainable business model. Global supply chain including manufacturing and distribution hubs that conform to stringent quality control norms would form the basis of any IVD company with global aspirations. Gone are the times, when a single country’s base could serve internationally. We have seen the supply disruptions during times of COVID-19 and with potential tariff war coming up, we can see organizations with multinational operations having an advantage in terms of seamless supply maintaining the same quality by replicating the standards, thus leading to same customer experiences over and over again. This in long run creates a high brand equity – something every successful company pursues.
