The Union Minister of Ayush, Shri Prataprao Jadhav, today chaired the inaugural meeting of the Parliamentary Consultative Committee attached to the Ministry of Ayush in New Delhi. The meeting marked an important milestone in fostering collaborative policymaking and advancing the nation’s vision for traditional medicine and holistic health.
During the session, Shri Prataprao Jadhav emphasized the Government of India’s commitment to mainstreaming Ayush systems—Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa, and Homeopathy—into the public health framework. Members of Parliament engaged in constructive dialogue on major policy initiatives, recent achievements, and the Ministry’s strategic roadmap, focusing on healthcare integration, research, and global promotion of Ayush practices.
