Maharashtra government has allocated ₹12.44 crore to increase COVID-19 testing capacity of Pune’s Sassoon General Hospital. “A fund of ₹8.90 crore…approved for procuring swab tests and ₹3.53 crore for other equipment required to conduct COVID-19 tests,” Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said. He added that ₹7.15 crore is being allocated for other essential machinery and equipment for Sassoon Hospital.
