In continuation of its commitment to bringing world-class healthcare to all, the Medanta Instituteof Neurosciences organised the World Neurosciences Summit at JW Marriott, Aerocity, New Delhi. The theme for the three-day conference was Basic, Beyond and Continuum. The conference highlighted advances such as robotics, virtual reality amongst others which are changing the way diseases and conditions associated with the human nervous system are being managed. The summit gave the attending neurosurgeons and neurologists an exposure to latest technologies in Neurosciences through a series of informative sessions and discussions by various renowned Indian and international experts.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Naresh Trehan, Chairman & Managing Director, Medanta said, “Technology enabled patient care is driving incrementally greater efficiency in end-to-end healthcare. In neurological treatment, patient-centric solutions powered by technology are improving patient care and management, resulting in better patient engagement and satisfaction. The World Neurosciences Summit engages participants to share and exchange knowledge and best practices.”

Dr. Sudhir Dubey, Director, Institute of Neurosciences, Medanta – The Medicity added, “The second edition of World Neurosciences Summit is an effort to acquaint participants with advancements in minimally invasive, keyhole image guided and neuropsychological monitored surgery with real time imaging. It is a great platform to share and exchange knowledge and best practices.”

“The World Neurosciences Summit reflects our commitment to how technology such as robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning can be used to advance patient care. These efforts contribute to better diagnoses and more precise treatment,’’ said Dr. Arun Garg, Director, Institute of Neurosciences, Medanta – The Medicity.
