The rising burden of Non-communicable Diseases such as Cardiovascular has called for innovative ways to deal with them. Given the higher incidence of heart problems, providers have started harnessing the power of digital health for its prevention and management. The theme of this year World Heart Day also focuses on these two aspects. We have started adopting new-age tech-enabled solutions to prevent, diagnose and treat heart patients effectively. Cardiologists have been leveraging digital tools and solutions for better clinical outcomes as they are associated with interventions and computations along with imaging. Apart from data, implantable cardiac devices are also considered digital interventions. For prevention, several mobile Apps have proved their efficacy in terms of monitoring heart health parameters. Going forward, digital health would be bringing in more innovative solutions to combat Cardiovascular diseases.
