MedScapeIndia-AMET Organises 6th FIT INDIA Conclave 2023

  •  Amidst the growing concerns around fitness, MedScapeIndia-AMET (Aryan Medical & Educational Trust) organized the 6th FIT INDIA CONCLAVE 2023. The conclave aimed to bring to discussion how to spread awareness for Nationwide CPR Training and to achieve the Health4All goal. During the conclave, Girl Child Anthem, Live CPR Training at 21 CPR Stations and FIT India Fest were launched. MedScapeIndia also proposed a Bill to be passed for the Prevention of Assault on Doctors.

While addressing the conclave, Dr Pramod P Sawant, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa said “In line with the National FitIndia Movement, we have initiated several programs and initiatives to promote a healthy lifestyle and preventive healthcare. We firmly believe that prevention is better than cure, and through various awareness campaigns and health education programs, we are encouraging our citizens to adopt healthier habits and make wellness a way of life.”

Speaking during the conclave, Dr Sunita Dube, Radiologist, Founder & Chairperson of MedScapeIndia, Aryan Medical and Educational Trust (AMET), said, “At MedScapeIndia, we have been working tirelessly to uplift the healthcare delivery system with the help of doctors from across the country. At FitIndia Conclave, we wish to spread the message to the doctors to take the pledge of serving the society to achieve the goal of ‘Health4All’ and to spread awareness for nationwide CPR training.”

Dr Sawant further mentioned, “After so many years of independence, India has become a global guru in Yoga and Ayurveda, and it is a matter of pride for us. We have fostered partnerships with leading national and international institutions to facilitate research, innovation, and the exchange of best practices. Through these collaborations, we aim to leverage collective expertise and experience to further enhance our healthcare system and ensure that our doctors have access to the latest advancements in medicine.”

Dr Dube further added, “The 5 Pillars of the FIT India Movement – Screen India, Prevent India, Pledge India, Treat India, and Train India aims to make the healthcare delivery system smoother in the Healthcare landscape of India. Fostering partnerships with healthcare organizations, NGOs, and community centres to establish widespread access to CPR training and allocating resources for training infrastructure, and to facilitating the availability of training courses and encouraging collaboration to ensure that CPR training is readily accessible in every community is what is the need of the hour.”

While encouraging the remarkable work done by Team MedScapeIndia, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim said, “The MedScapeIndia   Team has done remarkable work through ‘Fit India Movement.’ It is not just about individual efforts but it is about coming together as a community, as a nation, to create an ecosystem that supports and encourages fitness. He appealed to take care of the physical as well as mental wellness.” 

Shri Narayan Tatu Rane, Hon’ble Union Minister of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India, Shri Rajnath Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister of Defence and Homeland Security, Govt. of India joined virtually and extended their support & blessing to the organizer for their various initiatives like Girl Child Movement, CPR Awareness & Fit India Movement.

The conclave saw a galaxy of intellectuals and renowned personalities from politics and medicine. Padma Bhushan Awardee Dr Mohsin Wali; Founder of Marwah Studios Prof. Sandeep Marwah; and renowned Homeopathic physician Dr Mukesh Batra among others were present at the event.

There were two panel discussions during the conclave namely Nexgen Med-Research, Technology & Innovation and Enhancing Wellness and Boosting Immunity: Exploring Strategies for a Healthy Future, where the dignitaries from different medical fraternities shared their knowledge and experience with the delegates.
