Over 70 Years of Commitment to Nation-Building

Founded in 1953, SNG India has evolved into one of the country’s leading providers of healthcare infrastructure solutions, with a legacy that spans over seven decades. What started as a vision-driven enterprise by a pioneering entrepreneur has grown into a multi-generational business deeply committed to advancing India’s healthcare ecosystem. From supplying hospitals with life-saving infrastructure to embracing emerging technologies, SNG India has continually adapted to the needs of a changing India.

SNG’s success is rooted in its deep values, technological foresight, and a strong family legacy that has seamlessly transitioned across three generations. Each generation has brought with it fresh perspectives, operational agility, and an unwavering dedication to excellence.

The Visionary Founder: Shri P. K. Narula

The story of SNG India begins with Shri P. K. Narula, a visionary entrepreneur who laid the foundation with strong principles, integrity, and service to society at heart. In a post-independence India, P. K. Narula saw the urgent need for structured infrastructure in healthcare and other civic domains. He channeled his entrepreneurial zeal to establish SNG as a trusted provider of systems that directly supported human welfare.

Through his sharp business acumen and ethical leadership, P. K. Narula not only built a business, but also a culture—one that values quality, long-term relationships, and national development. His legacy continues to influence every aspect of SNG’s operations to this day.

Second Generation Leadership: Strengthening and Scaling the Vision

Following in their father’s footsteps, Pankaj Narula and Puneet Narula took the helm and built upon the strong foundation laid before them. Their leadership marked a new chapter of modernization, structured expansion, and industry innovation.

  • Pankaj Narula, as the Managing Director, brought strategic discipline and operational strength. His foresight enabled SNG to invest in emerging technologies and scale its services pan-India. Under his direction, the company took on larger, more complex projects, solidified its credibility with government and private healthcare institutions, and expanded its product and service portfolio.
  • Puneet Narula, the Joint Managing Director, infused the organization with energy, adaptability, and a hands-on approach to business development. He led critical partnerships and championed innovation across service delivery, customer engagement, and vendor ecosystems. He has been responsible for guiding the teams towards project realisations.  His collaborative style helped shape a strong internal culture and expanded SNG’s footprint across South Asia.

Together, the brothers ensured that SNG remained a value-driven, future-ready enterprise without losing the human touch instilled by their father.

Third Generation Leadership: Uday Narula Steps In

As SNG India steps into a new era, the third generation has begun assuming leadership responsibilities. Uday Narula, joined the family business as an intern in 2021 and is currently as Business Head, in the process of transitioning into key strategic and operational roles, represents the company’s future-facing leadership.

Uday brings a global mindset, digital awareness, and a refined understanding of emerging trends in infrastructure and healthcare. With a deep respect for the company’s heritage, he is introducing changes aimed at enhancing efficiency, digital transformation, and brand modernization. His focus includes:

  • Integrating digital tools for smarter project management
  • Expanding into new markets and healthcare segments
  • Aligning the company’s operations with global sustainability goals

Uday’s leadership signals a shift toward a more agile, tech-enabled, and customer-centric SNG—without compromising the core values that shaped it.

Krishnav Narula: Preparing for the Future

Set to join the company in a few years, Krishnav Narula represents the continuity of the family legacy and the promise of the future. He is currently undergoing academic training and industry exposure, with plans to contribute to the business with fresh insights, new strategies, and next-gen thinking. His journey will mark the consolidation of the third generation’s influence at SNG.

Diversification & New Ventures: Led by the New Generation

While SNG India remains firmly committed to its healthcare and infrastructure legacy, the third generation is actively exploring diversification opportunities into other spaces such as logistics automation, realty,  etc.

The diversification roadmap will be led by Uday and Krishnav, who are tasked with identifying high-impact sectors that align with the company’s strengths and values. This new strategic direction ensures that SNG stays relevant, resilient, and responsive to evolving market needs.

SNG India’s Healthcare Infrastructure Solutions: Trusted by Over 3,000 Hospitals

At the core of SNG India’s business is its comprehensive suite of healthcare infrastructure offerings, which have supported the development of more than 3,000 hospitals across India and South Asia. The company provides end-to-end planning, design, execution, and maintenance of critical systems that form the backbone of modern medical care.
