Marking a significant milestone in India’s journey towards inclusive healthcare, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan on September 17, 2025, coinciding with his 75th birthday. The campaign, launched from Madhya Pradesh, seeks to transform health services and awareness for women and children across India with unprecedented scale and commitment.

Union Health Minister Dr. JP Nadda announced that the nationwide initiative will extend from September 17 to October 2, 2025, during which 75,000 health camps will be organized at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, Community Health Centres (CHCs), and various healthcare facilities. These camps are designed to provide essential health services, early detection, and preventive care targeted specifically at addressing the unique healthcare needs of women and children.

“Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan embodies the government’s vision of inclusive and comprehensive healthcare, ensuring no woman or child is left behind in accessing quality medical services,” said Dr. Nadda. The campaign will also integrate Poshan Maah activities at Anganwadi centers, reinforcing nutritional awareness and holistic well-being to build healthier families and empowered communities.

This ambitious campaign is a testament to the administration’s dedication to empower women through health and wellness, a cornerstone for fostering gender equality and social upliftment. In addition to public healthcare facilities, the government has invited private healthcare stakeholders to actively participate in this nationwide effort.

With this campaign, the government renews its commitment to the mantra of “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar” (Healthy Woman, Empowered Family), recognizing that empowering women with health rights catalyzes resilient families and vibrant communities, thereby contributing to the nation’s progress.

The launch event on September 17 will feature distinguished guests and leaders who will champion this transformative healthcare mission.
