E-pharmacy platform PharmEasy has launched an AI powered at home rehabilitation and physiotherapy platform, designed to improve access to guided pain management, movement correction, and recovery programs through digital healthcare solutions.

The new AI driven service integrates movement tracking, posture analysis, and adaptive treatment planning to help users identify the root cause of musculoskeletal pain and follow structured rehabilitation routines from home without requiring frequent in clinic visits.

The platform aims to bridge the gap between diagnosis and recovery by enabling continuous monitoring of patient progress through AI based assessment tools and personalized recovery plans developed by healthcare professionals.

According to industry data, nearly 20–30% of India’s adult population experiences chronic musculoskeletal pain, including back, neck, and joint-related conditions, while access to physiotherapy services remains concentrated in urban centres. The World Health Organization has also highlighted that musculoskeletal disorders are among the leading causes of disability globally, impacting quality of life and productivity.

PharmEasy’s initiative is positioned within the broader expansion of India’s digital health ecosystem, where telemedicine adoption has grown significantly since the COVID-19 pandemic, with an estimated 50–60% increase in digital healthcare consultations in urban India over recent years.

The AI powered system is designed to provide:
Real time posture correction feedback, Personalized rehabilitation exercise plans, Remote monitoring by physiotherapy experts and Progressive adjustment of treatment based on recovery data.

The company stated that the platform is aimed at making expert led rehabilitation more affordable, accessible, and continuous, particularly for individuals managing long term pain conditions or mobility issues.

Healthcare experts believe that AI enabled rehabilitation could significantly reduce dependency on physical clinic visits and improve early intervention outcomes for chronic pain patients, especially in semi urban and home care settings.

The launch reflects the growing integration of artificial intelligence in India’s healthcare delivery model, particularly in preventive care, remote diagnostics, and patient monitoring systems.
