Unlike major medical hubs, Taiwan seems to be fast emerging as “Cradle of future hi-tech medical technologies ” Driven by a comprehensive and inclusive healthcare vision. Taiwan has been relentlessly working on relatable healthcare ie all the Industry, academics and R& D aspects of Taiwanese healthcare ecosystem are closely related and seamlessly integrated.
Taiwanese medical industry’s extraordinary excellence in IOT & AI based medical technologies, is not accidental or occasional in nature but it’s due to their two decades of sustained focus, understanding, analysis, application and perseverance.

Taiwanese healthcare authorities deserve credit for creating visionary planning & policies and ensuring smooth implementation thereof.
Mr Afzal Kamal, Editor-in –Chief Medgate Today, who was part of global healthcare media group, visited fascilities of hospitals & medical companies of Taiwan apart from Medical Taiwan’s exhibitiors. He was surprised to discover many new medical technologies showcased at Medical Taiwan. He was briefed and explained by Taiwanese healthcare experts and many exhibitors who said they work in close association with Taiwanese hospitals to understand the gaps in healthcare delivery and develop the teachnologies to keep pace with the patient centric healthcare delivery. It seems these companies believe that secret of innovation lies in understanding practical challenges of healthcare industry. As reported last year that Taiwanese healthcare specialises in micro surgery and imparting global training thereof. This also gives Taiwanese healthcare industry to interact with global medical fraternity. Needless to say that these interactions lead Taiwanese medical companies to an in-depth exposure to global healthcare delivery dynamics. It seems industry interaction and integration plays a crucial role in quality innovation in Taiwan. Mr. Kamal later visited Taiwanese healthcare majors like HTC, iXensor, DeepQ, IEI Integration Corp, Advantech, DHEF, AmCad Biomed, Hiwin, Chang Bing Show Chwan Memorial Hospital, and Chinese medical university hospital to gain an insights into making of world class healthcare facililties.
During his tour he visited, and had comprehensive discussion on future of Taiwanese healthcare and it’s contribution to the global healthcare with Dr.PEI- YUAN LEE, Medical Superintendent, Show Chwan Memorial Hospital.

Last but not the least, Mr Kamal expressed his wish to Taiwanese healthcare stakeholders for greater co-operation and integration between Taiwanese and Indian healthcare. He impressed upon his host with suggestion that Innovation and market complements each other for their respective sustainability which leads to quality healthcare deliverabilty and affordability. Hence Taiwanese medical innovation need to reach out emerging global markets including India.
