Bihar Healthcare witnessed a quantum leap in Onco care as Savera Cancer and Multispeciality Hospital was Inaugrated by Honourable Vice- President of India Shri M.Venkaiah Naidu, today at Patna. This event was graced by Shri Fagu Chouhan, Hobourable Governer of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar, Honourable Chief Minister of Bihar and Honourable Dy Chief Minister of Bihar Shri Sushil Kumar Modi.

Honourable MP Shri Janardhan Singh Singhiwal and Honourable MLA Shri Arun Kumar Sinha also congratulated the Promoters Dr. R.N. Singh, Dr.V.P.Singh and Dr.Ashish Singh for providing much needed full fledged and fully equipped Onco care facility to people of Bihar and neighbouring states.

This Onco center endeavours to provide quality care to patients who travel from different parts of Bihar to Delhi, Mumbai and other Onco care destinations for treatment.

Project Head Dr.VP Singh later briefed Medgate Editor Mr Afzal Kamal on project deliverables of this integrated tertiary care onco facility which encompasses all superspecilities like neuro-onco, uro-onco, ortho-onco etc. He informed that phase-I would start with 60 beds and focus on integration of all superspecialities, and achivement of opertional excellence. The speciality consultants would serve the hospital in visiting as well as on pay roll capacities. Apart from that foreign consultants are keen to volunteer their support for this project. The promoters attaches utmost importance to hiring quality paramedics staff.

In phase 2 hospital would be expanded to 100 beds. The promoters are likely to explore scope for medical tourism at this stage.
In Phase 3 project would finish last expansion of 50 additional beds thus making it 150 beded facility. At this stage promoters would offer telemedicine services to far flung areas.

The catchment areas includes whole Bihar state, neighbouring states and neighbouring country nepal.

The promoters also thanked Vizag based Pinnacle Cancer Center for their valuable support in realising their dream project in Onco care.
