Allied Medical Limited has launched ALTUS, its new series of ventilators, reinforcing its focus on developing advanced critical care technology in India. The launch brought together the company’s channel partners and members of the Allied Medical family.

The company said ALTUS reflects its long-standing commitment to making world-class critical care technology accessible through indigenous design and manufacturing. Founded in 1982, Allied Medical has positioned the new ventilator series as an extension of its vision to strengthen India’s medical technology capabilities.

The initiative reflects the leadership vision of Chairman Dr. Vinod Kohli and Joint Managing Directors Mr. Akhil Kohli and Mr. Aditya Kohli, alongside the contributions of the company’s employees, referred to as Alliedians, who were involved in bringing the product to fruition.

Designed and Built in India
According to the company, ALTUS has been designed and built in India, highlighting its focus on domestic medical technology development. The ventilator series is described as intelligent, adaptive and versatile, with features developed with clinicians’ requirements in mind.

Ventilators play a critical role in intensive care units and emergency settings, supporting patients who require assistance with breathing. The development of indigenous critical care equipment is an important part of India’s broader effort to strengthen medical device manufacturing and healthcare technology capabilities.

Focus on Clinician-Centred Innovation
Allied Medical said ALTUS represents more than a product launch, describing it as a commitment to clinicians and hospitals that depend on critical care equipment during life-threatening situations.

The company highlighted the role of its leadership and workforce in translating its vision into a new medical device series, with an emphasis on technology designed around clinical needs.

The launch adds to India’s growing medical technology landscape, where domestic manufacturers are contributing to the development of critical care equipment and reducing reliance on imported technologies.

With ALTUS, Allied Medical aims to further its presence in the critical care segment while advancing its commitment to indigenous medical technology innovation.
