In wake of rapid increase of COVID-19 cases around the country, iPC Health, a unique start-up offering end-to-end mobile learning and upskilling solution for the healthcare sector has developed an online program on ‘COVID-19 Infection Control & Emergency Preparedness’.
The free online learning program is intended for all healthcare professionals to empower them with the knowledge to help them in their preparedness and response to COVID-19. This program focuses on the infection outbreak and prevention strategies for healthcare organizations. It will serve as a quick preparation guide for healthcare workers with focused course modules on four learning areas: COVID-19, Infection outbreak, HIC-Implementation protocol and Community Emergency Services.
“While we are constantly tracking the spread of COVID-19, it is evident that the medical professionals at the forefront of care, are at the highest risk of infection. As the virus spreads across the country it’s important that relevant training material is available for healthcare professionals at their fingertips. Available online for free, our course informs, educates, and prepares health workers nationwide to care for patients while safeguarding themselves in this unprecedented time. This instructional course is available on both our iPC Health portal and the app and will help the health workers to get information on their fingertips as it can be accessed anytime and anywhere,” said Sameer Shariff, Founder and CEO, Impelsys.
Addressing the rising concerns over the growing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) cases across the nation, Dr. Naresh Shetty, President, M.S.Ramaiah Memorial Hospital recently spoke about the importance of digitally training medical professionals and hospital staff to deal with such highly contagious medical emergencies. “The alarming spread of COVID-19 nationwide is demanding top performance from hospital employees and healthcare workers who are actually at the forefront of tackling the infectious virus. Of late, there are several control protocols and informal training across hospitals to train the staff about how to respond to such an epidemic. However, we urgently need easily accessible courses to train the medical workforce to deal with such a critical and extremely communicable disease. Being virtual, such modules will limit large gatherings and in-person contact; thereby minimizing the possibility of any infection transmission during classroom sessions and ensuring safety”.
“Our team of subject matter experts and e-learning specialists have developed up-to-date courseware materials on this virus, which is intended for the healthcare professionals involved in such critical care responsibilities. These courses are available across all digital platforms such as smartphones, laptops, and desktops and in various formats, which will help us to reach out to both the urban and rural healthcare professionals. On our mission to improve the healthcare delivery in India by spreading knowledge through technology- we will continue to make such efforts to boost the quality of healthcare services in the country,” Shariff further added.
The course is available on the iPC Health App on Android & coming soon on iOS .To do the course on the web please visit https://explore.ipchealth.in/product-details-page/1397
