Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has set up five more COVID-19 care centres with a capacity of 1,600 beds. These include 600-bed GKVK agriculture students’ hostel and university campus, 400-bed GKVK horticulture students’ hostel and university campus, and 200 beds each at Government Ayurvedic Medical University and Hospital, City Centre International Hotel, Majestic and Chancery Pavilion.
