The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) has said it found 50 campaigns by Ayurveda and homoeopathic drug makers offering cure for COVID-19 in April alone. ASCI added that it alerted the government about them as they violated AYUSH Ministry’s order on misleading advertisements. The disclosure comes after the government stopped Patanjali Ayurved from advertising a drug as COVID-19 cure.
