Through three decades of experience in Healthcare technology and operations services, Balasubramanian Sankaranarayanan or Bala as he is known, has been instrumental in building, scaling and nurturing high-performing, domain-focused businesses. He has excelled in developing lasting relationships with customers, strategic alliances with partners and driving high-value M&A activities globally.

Founding member and the President and CEO of Thryve Digital, a pioneering Global Capability Center (GCC) that is operating in the Payvider space, Bala is, in his own words, a “Digital Health Evangelist” and is passionate about the reimagination of Healthcare delivery through operational simplification and leverage of innovative HealthTech Platforms, Products and HealthOps solutions.

Bala has previously leveraged his expertise in incubating and scaling businesses to manage billion-dollar portfolios comprising of Fortune 500 clients, delivering all-round growth across sales and delivery for organizations like Cognizant and Atos SE.

Bala is a firm believer of the potential of technology in business and societal transformation, especially in the Healthcare space.  He has served on the board of DIA India and working groups / committees within organizations like NASSCOM and FICCI.  He is a recognized thought leader on digital health and a keynote speaker in conferences and industry forums within India and outside.

A Life-long learner, Bala has degrees in Science, IT, Management and Healthcare Delivery from institutions such as the University of Madras, Manipal Academy, IIM Bangalore and Harvard Business School.  He is passionate about Classical Music, Cricket and Motorsports.
