CORE Diagnostics, a NABL accredited, Gurgaon-based high-end clinical laboratory, has recently received an accreditation certification from the College of American Pathologists (CAP), a leading international laboratory accrediting organization, based on the results of a recent assessment as part of the CAP’s Accreditation Programs. Accreditation by CAP is widely regarded internationally in the diagnostics industry that signifies the highest quality standards of tests across regions.

The CAP laboratory accreditation program is recognized by U.S. federal government as equal to or more-stringent-than the government’s own inspection program. In the accreditation process, inspectors examined the laboratory’s records and quality control of procedures for the preceding two years. To ensure the lab meets CAP’s stringent quality criteria, the CAP inspectors also examine laboratory staff qualifications, equipment, facilities, safety program and record, and overall management. CORE Diagnostics becomes one of the nearly 8,000 CAP-accredited facilities worldwide and one of only fourteen standalone labs in India. This certification by CAP accredits a whole range of tests that includes diagnosis in fields like cardiology, oncology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, gynaecology, and nephrology.
