Inauguration was attended by around 150 pathologists, laboratory professionals, technologists, biomedical engineers and other IVD industry experts. Major dignitaries included Managing Director & Founder of CRL Diagnostics, Mr. Ravi Tomar along with other senior management members, Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Suparna Bhattacharya, Mr. Shrish Dixit, Product and Marketing Head, HORIBA, Mr. Anand Sharma, National Head – Customer Support.

HORIBA Medical India, installed its latest high-end technology i.e. YH1500 along with automated slide stainer. HORIBA is already present in many lab chains across the country and coming up aggressively with its high-end Digital hematology technology for IVD industry.

As explained by the industry sources, Hemat-Hotspot are special sites rigorously and stringently following “Best Practices of Hematology” that starts from addressing the need of quality sample, smear preparation, automated slide staining procedures and use of digital microscopy with modern cell counters. At Hotspot centers subject experts learn and practice different aspects related to hematology and offer opportunities to exchange ideas and bring betterment in various practices in hematology laboratory. The facility is designed to conduct frequent and regular Focus Group Meetings i.e. FGMs which will be helpful to technologists and other laboratory professionals to become best practitioners.

HORIBA Medical India, has recently came up with other collaborative projects like Centre-for-excellence with laboratory chains like Suburban Diagnostics and Suraksha Laboratory and many more are in the pipeline to be announced by the end of 2020.
