Keypoint Intelligence recognizes Kodak Info Input Solution with BLI 2021 Pick Award for Outstanding Distributed Capture & Workflow Optimization Solution

– Keypoint Intelligence, the world’s leading independent evaluator of document imaging software, hardware and services, has announced Kodak Info Input Solution v6 as the winner of the BLI 2021 Pick Award for Outstanding Distributed Capture & Workflow Optimization Solution in the Document Imaging Software category. Pick Awards recognize the most impressive solutions evaluated
by Keypoint Intelligence during the previous 12-month test cycle. Kodak Alaris is the most-awarded scanner manufacturer in Keypoint Intelligence’s 60-year history, with 31 Pick and Outstanding Achievement Awards as well as five Scanner Line of the Year honors.

Keypoint Intelligence applauded Info Input Solution for its impressive array of automated capture/process/route capabilities that are available to users at the point of document capture. “The
solution leverages powerful visual classification and OCR/ICR/OMR technology to eliminate manual
document separation, data extraction and routing chores, enabling businesses to redirect their workforce’s focus away from error-prone data entry tasks,” said Lee Davis, Associate Director of Software/Scanners at Keypoint Intelligence.

Info Input Solution is a web-based and mobile capture application that is easy for workers who regularly scan across departments and enterprises to implement and use. It offers high-speed capture with real-time display, bar code indexing, database look up and document separation. The latest release now offers advanced document classification and separation, which reduces the need for document preparation.

Some of the key features and benefits Keypoint Intelligence highlighted during testing were:
• An intuitive user experience;
• Visual classification that automatically recognizes and separates documents, then extracts specific
information based on this intelligence, so humans don’t have to;
• The ability to extract and redact data from imported Word and Excel files as if they are scanned images;
• And the ability to optimize indexing processes using the Advanced Forms Designer.

“Kodak Alaris is honored to receive this prestigious award,” said John Blake, Senior Vice President Marketing & Product Management, Alaris division of Kodak Alaris. “This recognition highlights our dedication to providing customers with the best capture solutions for their business. We continuously strive
to deliver world class technologies that enable customers to capture accurate, complete data on the first scan, and get information into business processes faster.”
