Dr. Preeti Seth, a renowned leader in the wellness and aesthetics industry, has been appointed as the State Vice Chairperson of Industry for Delhi NCR by the MSME Promotion Council of India. The appointment was announced by Shri Pradeep Mishra, Hon’ble Chairman of the MSME Promotion Council of India, during a formal ceremony focused on promoting and advancing the MSME sector across the country.
The MSME Promotion Council of India is dedicated to empowering key sectors such as agriculture, women entrepreneurs, and micro-businesses, by providing necessary resources, opportunities, and platforms for new entrepreneurs. The council plays a significant role in creating employment opportunities for youth and fostering an inclusive and strong society by supporting small businesses in their growth.
The event was also attended by Mr. Surinder Ahlawat, Deputy Vice Chairman of Industry and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), who congratulated Dr. Seth and emphasized the need to boost FDI in MSME sectors to create a thriving business ecosystem.
Dr. Preeti Seth’s Role and Vision:
In her new role, Dr. Preeti Seth will be responsible for coordinating franchise outlets across India, ensuring businesses have the support to expand regionally and grow nationally. The MSME council will provide resources, opportunities, and platforms to new entrepreneurs looking to grow their ventures. Initiatives like the Retail Trading Guarantee Scheme (BRGS) will further boost entrepreneurial confidence.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity, Dr. Preeti Seth shared her vision for MSME growth: “I am deeply honored to take on this role at a time when India is seeing unprecedented entrepreneurial spirit. MSME is the backbone of our economy, and I am committed to working towards creating a strong support system for women entrepreneurs, small business owners, and farmers. With initiatives like ‘Zero Effect, Zero Defect’ and ‘Vocal for Local,’ we will not only ensure the quality of Indian products but also strengthen our local markets to compete on a global scale.”
MSME’s Vision for Growth and Empowerment
The MSME Promotion Council focuses on several key initiatives:
– Supporting Farmers: MSME initiatives help farmers access better resources and markets.
– Women Empowerment: Special schemes like the Nari Shakti Bandhan Scheme provide financial and social support to women entrepreneurs.
– Youth Employment: By supporting micro-businesses and start-ups, MSME aims to create better employment opportunities for young talent.
– Zero Effect, Zero Defect (ZED): A framework aimed at ensuring Indian products are of high quality with minimal environmental impact, aligning with Vocal for Local initiatives that encourage the consumption of locally made goods.

“We are appointing 30 State Vice Chairpersons for the franchise expansion program, and Dr. Preeti Seth is the first for the Nex100 segment-wise service industry franchisee program. With our support in finance and resources, MSMEs can open up to 100 franchises per state, empowering local businesses and expanding across India.”
