As incidents of mental health related concerns grow at an alarming rate; Eupheus Learning, a Delhi based EdTech startup and the Department of Mental Health and Behavioural Sciences,Fortis Healthcare, a leading specialist hospital in the country have joined hands to spread awareness about this sensitive issue. Dr. Samir Parikh, Director, Department of Mental Health and Behavioral sciences, Fortis Healthcare, has conceptualized#PsychEd2018India’s onlyNational Psychology Quiz for school students. This quiz aims to cultivate an interest in young minds for the field of psychology andpromote awareness around mental health issues nationally.
Psych-Ed in 2017 received an astounding participation from 460 schools from 90 cities across India. 1380 students participated in this quiz last year for the online round alone.
Being knowledge partners for the contest, Eupheus Learning will be running pre-event contests on their Facebook page to promote the quiz. Together, they will also hold Facebook live sessions of 30 minute each on their Facebook page www.facebook.com/eupheuslearningwhere mental health experts from the Department of Mental Health and Behavioural Sciences, Fortis Healthcare will elaborately cover topics related to education and mental health.
