The AIIMS hospital in Delhi has provided 55,000 teleconsultations to follow-up patients so that they won’t need to visit the facility during the coronavirus lockdown, chief spokesperson Dr Aarti Vij said. The AIIMS registered 10,609 non-COVID-19 admissions between March 25 and May 31 while an average of 800 coronavirus-infected patients were at the facility daily, she added.
