The government today said it has taken cognizance of the news about ayurvedic medicines developed for treatment of COVID-19 by Patanjali. It added facts of the claim and details of the scientific study are not known to it. It further asked Patanjali for details about the drugs and asked it to stop advertising till the “issue is duly examined”.
