Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, a leading hospital in Mumbai celebrated its 50th Anniversary milestone today.

The event held at NCPA, Mumbai was witnessed Javed Akthar, Sabana Azmi, Jackie Shroff other dignitaries and hospital Trustees to commemorate the hospital’s 50 years and its incredible legacy of providing patient-centric healthcare to all classes of the community. The event also hosted medical consultants along with spouses, medical staff and business associates that Jaslok has worked with in the last 50 years. During the event, eminent personalities unveiled the coffee table book authored by socialite Ms. Malavika Sangghvi, which showcases the legacy of Jaslok Hospital and exhibits its journey of 50 years through innovation, research and excellence and mentions the milestones achieved over the years. The hospital unveiled its new logo – that signifies 50 years of Care, Compassion & Excellence. The trustee of the hospital took this as an opportunity to express their gratitude towards all stakeholders.

The Hospital was inaugurated on 6^th July 1973 as the first tertiary care hospital in the country which brought the international quality of healthcare at the doorstep of India and provided the most comprehensive multispecialty treatment facilities under one roof. Since then, there has been no looking back in extending the best possible medical treatment to the patients. Over the past 50 years, it has continued to evolve with patient centric and evidence based healthcare services with state-of-the-art technology and provides improved outcomes.
