International Nurses Day was on May 12th, and to appreciate their nurses, Medicover Hospital organized a grand event for their nurses who have gone above & beyond to heal patients.

Communities across the country are celebrating the work of front line workers during International Nurses Day. Medicover Hospital hosted a special event on this occasion to kick off the grand celebration to recognize the dedicated service of nurses associated with the Hospital since its inception in 1978.

Medicover Hospital Navi Mumbaihas started the celebration by following nurses week that included various competition and fun activities From:08 May 2023 to 12 May 2023.

Day-5 Nurses Day Cultural Programme

The programme commenced with a prayer song to invoke the Almighty’s Blessings. The event started with nurses participating actively in cultural programmes.

The celebrations were organized at Auditorium Hall, Medicover Hospital where more than 70 nurses were present. Prominent authorities present at the event were Dr. Naveen (Unit Head), Dr Harshad (DMS) and all the Departmental HOD’s.

The Deputy Nursing Superintendent of the Hospital, Mrs. Simmi Punnoose expressed her feelings over the celebration, with this year’s theme “ Our Nurses Our Future“. The Unit head remark about ‘Nursing’ being the hospital’s backbone was a ‘boost’ to the nurses’ morale. Staff nurses organised fun games and a cultural event to add to the excitement of the Nurses’ Day celebrations. All of the winners in the various events received prizes and the event closes with a vote of thanks by nursing staff sister Shemiya .
