New Delhi — J. P. Nadda has unveiled two major digital health initiatives—‘Swasth Bharat’ and ‘JANANI’—aimed at strengthening preventive healthcare and improving maternal and child health outcomes across India. The announcement underscores the government’s continued focus on shifting from curative to preventive care through technology-driven, citizen-centric platforms.

The ‘Swasth Bharat’ platform is designed to promote nationwide health awareness, encourage early screening, and support preventive healthcare practices through digital engagement and data-driven insights. Complementing this, the ‘JANANI’ platform focuses on enhancing maternal and child healthcare services by enabling better tracking, monitoring, and delivery of care for pregnant women and newborns.

These initiatives align with the broader vision of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to strengthen public health systems and improve healthcare accessibility through digital innovation.
