Transformative Initiative Aimed at Enhancing Critical Care Skills and Patient Outcomes

Narayana Health City has taken a significant step in advancing healthcare by inaugurating its state-of-the-art Advanced Simulation Centre, dedicated to the training of ICU nurses. The launch event, held at the hospital’s Heart Care Block, was marked by the presence of Dr. Devi Shetty, Founder and Chairman of Narayana Health, along with Trustees from the Madhukanta Gunvant Sheth Charitable Trust from Mumbai who generously supported and financed the project.

The Advanced Simulation Centre is equipped with cutting-edge technology designed to provide immersive, hands-on training for nurses specializing in critical care. The facility includes a critical-care simulation area complete with patient simulators, mechanical ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other essential equipment. This initiative is expected to significantly elevate the quality of nursing care in ICU settings, thereby improving patient outcomes.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Devi Shetty emphasized the importance of this development: “The launch of the Advanced Simulation Centre is a milestone in nursing education in India. By providing our nurses with the opportunity to practice in a realistic but safe environment, we are empowering them to become more confident and proficient in handling complex medical situations.
