The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to tie up with private labs for coronavirus testing, saying that collected samples remain pending at times due to low testing capacity. In the initial phase, the civic body plans to send at least 500 samples per day to private laboratories. The PMC is currently testing 2,800 to 3,500 samples each day.
