Redcliffe Labs, India’s fastest-growing diagnostic service provider, launched the “DilKiSuno” campaign for World Heart Day to raise awareness on how adopting a healthy lifestyle at any age can reduce your chance of developing heart disease and having a heart attack or stroke.
The “DilKiSuno” campaign highlights the importance of heart health through the real-life experiences of people from different age groups. The purpose of this campaign is to make people across various aware of cardiovascular health and heart attack symptoms. Changes in lifestyle and timely diagnosis shouldn’t be taken for granted.
Through the campaign, Redcliffe Labs wants to send across the message #DilKiSuno, kyunkikuchmaamlo me dilhumeshasahihotahai. Take a moment to pause what you are doing, inhale deeply, and pay attention to your heart’s rhythm, as it is the secret to your physical and emotional well-being. A 5-day massive on-the-ground operation, which began on September 25 and will continue through September 29 in more than 150 cities across India, is supporting the campaign.
Cardiovascular diseases are becoming a leading cause of mortality in India. In 2016, the prevalence of CVDs was estimated to be 54.5 million. 1 in 4 deaths in India was because of CVDs with ischemic heart disease. Also, stroke was responsible for >80% of this burden. Researchers have also claimed that there is a substantial risk of cardiovascular diseases like stroke and heart attack even after many months of SARS CoV2 infection.Hence, Redcliffe Labs aims to make people aware of their heart health with the #DilKiSunoCampaign.
Commenting on the new campaign Mr. Dheeraj Jain, the Founder of Redcliffe Labs, said, “Our campaign Dil Ki Suno emphasizes the idea of a healthy heart, healthy you! One can prevent heart disease by living their life the way one wants with the right diagnosis at the right time. Everyone must acknowledge that occasionally they take their health for granted. We don’t usually give it much thought until a sudden issue arises.Hence, it is the need of the hour to manage risk factors like hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, and obesity by maintaining an active lifestyle.”
It is also noteworthy to mention that Redcliffe Labs is the first in the diagnostic industry to introduce an ECG facility, at few of its collection centres, along with the Special Heart Packages curated specifically to check the parameters for a healthy heart.
