Russia on Thursday began to supply ‘Avifavir’, its first drug approved for the treatment of COVID-19 patients, to hospitals and clinics across the country, Russia’s RDIF sovereign wealth fund said. The anti-coronavirus drug is produced by a joint venture of RDIF and ChemRar Group. Over 10 countries have made requests for Avifavir supplies, RDIF chief Kirill Dmitriev said.
