Alliance for Economic and Educational Development of the Underprivileged (AEEDU) organized a talk on “Education and Technology: A Paradigm Shift,” by Mr. Sabeer Bhatia, co-founder of Hotmail and ShowReel, on May 26, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the India International Centre.  The dais was shared by Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah, Dr. Kavita A. Sharma, Mr. Shahid Siddiqui, Prof. Furqan Qamar, Mr. Javed Yunus, and Syed Mahmood Akhter, CEO, AEEDU.  It was attended by individuals from diverse backgrounds, including professors, school teachers, students, entrepreneurs, and others.

The program commenced with participants’ registration which was substantial. The formal proceedings began with an introductory address by Mr. Shahid Siddiqui. He was followed by Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah, who delivered the welcome address and introduced AEEDU. Dr. Kavita A. Sharma and Prof. Furqan Qamar provided brief addresses, sharing their perspectives on education and technology. Mr. Javed Yunus during his address discussed the life and journey of Mr. Sabeer Bhatia. It set the stage for the keynote address by Mr. Sabeer Bhatia.

Mr. Bhatia, during his speech, captivated the audience with his insights on how technology can revolutionize education. He emphasized the need for innovation. He also shared his journey of becoming a successful techpreneur.

Following his speech, an interactive session was held, allowing the audience to engage directly with Mr. Bhatia and other speakers. This session included a wide range of questions from the participants that were answered by Mr. Bhatia and other speakers.

The programme concluded with a PowerPoint presentation by Mr. Syed Mahmood Akhter, CEO of AEEDU, which provided an overview of AEEDU’s ongoing projects and future initiatives.
