 Dr Deenadayal’s ENT Care Centre (DECC), a renowned center of excellence in ENT care; launched a one of its kind, state-of-the-art exclusive ENT care facility with ultramodern technology, offering comprehensive ENT diagnosis and care under one roof, at the iconic Shenoy Hospitals, East Marredpally, today. The doyen of ENT care in the combined Telugu states and Managing Director of Dr Deenadayal’s ENT Care Centre, Dr Deenadayal, with over four decades of experience; along with specialists in various sub-specialities of ENT, audiology and speech specialties, with a combined experience of over one hundred and fifty years, will render global standard care, at the new Centre

Speaking on the occasion Dr Deenadayal said, ENT has tremendous prominence because of the multiple subspecialities which no other specialty can boast off. Out of the five senses we have, the senses of smell, taste and hearing is treated by ENT. Among the treatments the commonest cancer is of head and neck cancers, which is treated by ENT specialists. Among the allergies, nasal allergies are the commonest, which leads to asthma if ignored.

Every 4^th person snores, and every 5^th person has sleep apnea. Both these ailments are the modern age disease. Though the prevalence is high, they are ignored, this despite being the underlying cause for serious comorbidities like hypertension, diabetes, heart ailments, central nervous system ailments. Besides affecting the quality of life, these two reduce the overall life span. In fact, treating sleep apnea at the earliest, right from childhood would make a huge difference to healthy living. DECC is recognized for the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea for its immense expertise and is an acknowledged center for training ENT surgeons, says Dr Deenadayal.

The spacious facility spread across 4000 sft, on the first floor of the Shenoy Hospitals, has multiple Consultation Rooms, Treatment Rooms, Audiology Rooms, Endoscopy room, Operation Theatres, and inpatient rooms. The Centre is equipped with advanced spice Camera systems and German microscopes for performing delicate micro ear surgeries; low radiation CT machine exclusive for ENT and Head & Neck; diagnostic tools with advanced diagnostic software and flexible endoscopes to diagnose remote and invisible parts of the throat, larynx, ear and nose; lasers for complex laser surgeries, navigation systems, radiofrequency machines; flexible and rigid endoscopes; state-of-the-art Audiology equipment and advanced ultra sound machines to help in diagnosing Head and neck conditions accurately, among others. To reduce the impact of radiation on patients, DECC has introduced low radiation CT scan in this Centre, says Dr Deenadayal.      

DECC is known for phonosurgeries to correct voice aberrations, especially among professional singers, mimicry artists, news readers, common public etc. Patients from various parts of the country come for this treatment to us, says Dr Deenadayal.

To make our specialized care accessible to more patients and replicate our care module, DECC will be expanding its network with satellite centers in Districts.
